Stockport Easter Competition 2022

Last weekend our squad girls travelled to the Stockport School of Gymnastics (4 Piece) Easter Competition, this is always a really nice friendly competition, one we have missed for the past two years due to pandemic.

This was for many of our younger girls their first competition with routines on all the apparatus which is a big challenge in itself but they all did brilliantly just showing how far they have all come and that they can hold their own in a full 4 piece competition. For others returning back to competition this was all about laying down new skills or entire routines around the apparatus that they had never competed before, and again they all did amazingly well. Not everything goes to plan in competition and we had a few falls, a minor injury but defiantly a successful and positive experience with some medals.

Isla Bradley = 1^st on Vault, 3^rd on Bars and 4^th Overall

Brooke Aston = 5^th Vault, 3rd on Bars & Best Number Award

Annabel Buxton = 2^nd Vault

Harriett Salt = 3^rd on Vault, 3^rd on Floor & 3^rd Overall

Maizie Richardson = 1^st on Vault, 1^st on Beam, 1^St on Floor & 2^nd Overall

Ava Beaumont = 4^th on Beam & an Artsity Award

Alex Kozlowska = 4^th Vault, 3^rd on Floor & Best Number Award

Maisy Hobon = 3^rd On Vault and 4^th on Bars

Henrietta Adamson = 4^th on Vault and 1^st On Floor
